SELANGOR extended their lead at the halfway stage of the Super League to four points after Azidan Sarudin's winner edged Sabah 1-0 at the Shah Alam Stadium yesterday.

Azidan's free-kick in the 71st minute was spilled by Sabah goalkeeper Syed Adney Syed Hussein in the 71st minute and the referee awarded a goal after deeming the ball had crossed the line.

Perak and Terengganu lost ground on the leaders after cancelling each other out in a 1-1 draw at the Perak Stadium in Ipoh.

Perak were celebrating as early as the eighth minute when Shafiq Jamal put them ahead only for Terengganu to earn a penalty in the 60th minute which Hadi Yahya put away to make it 1-1.

Badhri Radzi hit a hat-trick while Norshahrul Idlan Talaha returned from suspension to revive Kelantan's title hopes and end their goalscoring drought with a brace in a 5-1 win over Perlis at the Utama Stadium in Kangar.

Super League top scorer Norshahrul opened the scoring after seven minutes before Faiz Subri equalised for Perlis five minutes later.

Norshahrul struck again a minute before half-time to regain the lead for the visitors with his 10th league goal before Badhri took over the show with goals in the 47th, 68th and 80th minutes.

T-Team and Johor FC drew 1-1 in Kuala Terengganu as Shahrul Ezrain Shamsudin headed in Zairo Anuar Zailani's 10th-minute corner for the hosts to take the lead before Johor FC drew level three minutes after the break through Shahrizal Saad's header.

T-Team defender Azizi Matt Rose was given a straight red card five minutes from time.

Azrul Ahmad scored twice inside 13 minutes to lead Felda United to a 2-1 win over Kuala Lumpur at the KLFA Stadium in Cheras.

Poor defending by KL allowed Azrul to score in the seventh and 13th minutes before Syafiq Johari gave KL some hope with his first goal of the season in the 43rd minute.

Negri Sembilan's winless run stretched to eight matches after a 1-1 draw with Pahang in Kuantan while playing for more than an hour with 10 men after Hairuddin Omar was sent off in the 27th minute.

Idris Karim slotted past Pahang goalkeeper Rosfaizul Azuar from close range in the 10th minute to put Negri 1-0 ahead before Pahang's Famirul Asyraf Sayuti headed in the equaliser in the 79th minute.
