DALLAS: Aaron Rodgers completed 24-of-39 passes for 304 yards and three touchdowns to lead Green Bay to a 31-25 victory over Pittsburgh this morning, claiming the Packers' first Super Bowl title in 14 years.

Quarterback Rodgers, playing in his maiden Super Bowl, helped secure the victory with a eight-yard touchdown pass to receiver Greg Jennings with just under 12 minutes left in the fourth quarter.

The drive started with a Steelers' fumble on the first play of the final quarter as Green Bay was able to convert three Pittsburgh turnovers into touchdowns at Cowboys Stadium. Rodgers, who was named the MVP of Super Bowl 45, connected with Jennings to make it 28-17.

Jennings finished with four catches for 64 yards and two touchdowns while teammate Jordy Nelson had a game-high 140 yards receiving for the Packers who captured their fourth Super Bowl title and first since Super Bowl 32 when they beat the New England Patriots 35-21.

Kicker Mason Crosby put the finishing touches on the win for Green Bay with a 23-yard field goal with 2:07 remaining in the fourth quarter.

The crowd seemed to be split down the middle and as soon as a "Go Pack Go" chant would start up it would be drowned out by a "Go Steelers Go" and vice versa.

This morning's game marks the first Super Bowl meeting between two of the NFL's most stories franchises the Steelers and Packers, who now have 15 appearances in the showpiece between them.

A who's who of the American celebrity circles were also on hand for the game, including actor Michael Douglas and his wife Catherine Zeta Jones, singer Kid Rock and New York Yankees baseball star Alex Rodriguez.

The game was expected to be the most watched event in US television history.

Even US President Barack Obama got into the spirit by hosting lavish Super Bowl party for about a 100 VIPs and dignitaries at the White House.

KUALA LUMPUR: Sara Yasmin Talib's work revolves around the opposite sex. She is a physiotherapist with the national Under-17 and Under-15 football teams.

Sara, on the payroll of the FA of Malaysia, started with the Harimau Muda team and travelled to Uzbekistan with them in 2008. Since then, she has been to Australia, Singapore, Uzbekistan and China.

A Sports Science graduate, Sara, the only child in the family, is the only female physio in Malaysian football. She is enjoying every moment, whether on the field or in the rehab rooms. Rain or shine, she is on the training ground monitoring her charges.

"No occupational hazards so far. Of course I was a bit shy at first and so were some of the players. As time progressed we became good friends and there is now mutual respect," said Sara, 24.

"I'm always at the training ground or matches to ensure players receive immediate medical attention."

Her greatest satisfaction always is to see the players back to their full potential on the field because "I know I've done my job".

The irony is football is not her favourite sport. She spends her leisure hours on rock-climbing.
